We know that there are 20 balls (3 +7 +10) in the bottle, we also know that 10 of them white. Since it is a tie, the gunman did not (see what) the design of marble, the problem is quite simple. If the ratio between the number of possible designs in white marble, with the number of possible designs, in this case, 10/20 or 5 or a 50% probability.

10 balls white / 20 balls total = 1 / 2

P (white marble) = 1 / 2
(since you also asked!)

Total marbles = 3 +7 +10 = 20
no. white marble = 10
Probability of white marble = 10/20 = 1 / 2 = 0.5 = 50% (all)

Red marbles = 3
Marble Green = 7
Marble White = 10

Marble Total = 20

Chance of white marble is 10/20 = 1 / 2 or 50%

white marble probability = favorable outcomes / Total cases
10 = White Marbel / 20 total Marbel
= 1 / 2

1 / 2
simply divide the number of gaps by the total number of balls.

Add all together and you get 20th
Thus, the proportion is 10/20, you get a white marble.
10/20 = 1 / 2 or 50%.

a total of 20 balls, 10 are white
If it is possible 10 out of 20
or
1 / 2

You get the chance, a 50/50 white marble.
